1st Battalion The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire) Regiment

Job was born in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire and was the son of Mrs R Tudor (previously Bailey) and the husband of Lily Bailey. Prior to enlistment, Job worked at the Rawdon Colliery, Moira, Leicestershire.  

He enlisted on the 30th May 1917 and served with ‘A’ Company in the 1st battalion. He embarked for France on the 4th November 1914. 

On the 15th February 1918 he was sadly killed in action at the age of 22 years when serving in the trenches at Pill Box 83, near Wallenmolen, Belgium.
