Museum of the Mercian Regiment (WFR Collection) is a registered charity (Number 1001226). We would not be able to maintain the museum without the generous support of public donations. Our collection is made up of 1000’s of items & archive material all relating to personal stories of soldiers who have served in the Regiment from Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire.
We aim to collect & preserve items related to the history of The Sherwood Foresters, Worcestershire & Sherwood Foresters and the Mercian Regiment ( for Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire).
