Unfortunately, not much is known about Private Joseph Morley. He enlisted with the Sherwood Foresters and later transferred to Labour Corps with the new number 637923.

He was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. His British War Medal was found by a metal detectorist and handed into Doncaster Museum. It is now held in the Regimental Museum collection.
